I recently came across an article that really really surprised me. At first I thought it was just a joke until I saw the pictures. So you think you have a big TV at home? Well you have seen nothing if it isn't on this screen! Now that is a TV! And I know a friend of mine is getting some renovations done on his house. Well you might want to tell your dad about this monster for the new family room!

Well that's it from me for the time being. I promise there will be a new entry soon about my brother's wedding. And this time I think I am just going to sit one day and finish the whole thing and publish it. So till then take care and have fun people.

Hello All. Well since my phone hasn't been ringing all morning I can safely say that people have forgotten about my birthday! So let me just sing for myself 'Happy Birthday to Me'! And yes just in case people are wondering how old I am now. Well its officially 25. A quarter of a century and I can see myself getting old and losing hair already!;-)

Ok so there has been a very long break in between my entries about my exprience of a life time. And I have to say that I have a an absolutly amazing time not doing anything except working, sleeping, basically the whole package that is included in me being lazy and doing nothing at all.

So let's see where I left you the last time. I left you on Monday when my brother got into the country 3 days before his wedding! Alright now on Tuesday the 22nd of august I was woken up by my dad at around 0500 in the morning! Why is it that I hear you ask? Well I had stupidly put my hand up to go back to Ambala that morning because we were getting some sweets made there and they had tp picked up at 0630 in the morning. So after taking a cold shower at that time in the morning (no matter how hot it gets there in the morning the water was absolutly freezing!) my cousin and I ventured to head back to Ambala to get the sweets. Now my cousin fell asleep in the car while I just couldn't sleep. What we didn't realise was that at that early in the morning the roads were pretty much empty and where it normally takes us an hour and fifteen minutes to get there, it really took us only 40 minutes. So now we were there in Ambala about 30 minutes before the truck (pretty much the same thing as a UTE) would be there to get get the sweets loaded on it.

Anyway we get boxes of sweets loaded on the truck and head home to get the other boxes of sweets (the one's that got made at home) loaded. In all there were about 160 boxes that were loaded on the truck! Yup it was a long and arduous task of getting all the boxes on. Especialy when my cousin ran away and said that he was going to take the priest (Pandit in Hindi terms) over to Panchkula because we were going to have a 'Havan' (a Hindu ritual). Now while he had it all easy and I was stuck with making sure that the truck was loaded completely and left in time to get to Panchkula for something that I didn't know about. Besides that there were also some other things that are needed for the Havan which I didn't know about but was asked to get them at the last second and then yelled at when I didn't get one thing which was never mentioned to me. And everyone was yelling at me that I should have known it, while I was going how will I know when I have almost never attended a Havan or had anything to do with the preparation for a Havan.

Anyway we finally were on our way. The best thing was that the Havan was supposed to start at 1100 or the latest by 1130. And we didn't leave Ambala before 1230 which meant that they while thing was delayed by about 2 hours. So we get there and the Havan had already been started but I was too buggered to be bothered attending it. So I just webt updtairs to my room and relaxed there for a while before i got my orders to go and get something else which I really can't remember now.

Around 1700 I was absolutly and completely buggered for the day and then we decided that we had to go shopping once again! So while shopping we got a call from one of our family friends from Dubai and they were waiting for us at the Train Station. So my mum and I went to get them from the train station in Chandigarh when we almost drove past it! That was because there was no sign or even the street lights were out at the enterance. There was no chance that anyone could have said that it was a train station. It almost looked like Ghost Town! Anyway by the time we had picked them up from the train station and headed back to the city my dad, cousin and brother had finished their shopping and we just had to pick them up and head home.

This was also the day when the Bride's family had a function organised and we were invited. we get back at the Hotel and freshen up. we get there and before us a couple of my cousins had already gone there and had scoped the situation for me! As soon as I walked in my cousin comes to me and drags me away from everything to where the bar was! You after being well and truly buggered all day I finally had some solice. I could finally get myself absolutly senseless drinking! Unfortunately I couldn't do that as well because by the time we got there the bar had almost emptied out!

Anyway after regaining some strength, as you all know Whisky helps you revitalise, I almost felt like a new man. Then one of the Bride's brother's  dragged me to the dance floor. I tried to resist as much as I could but then the number of people who wanted me to dance ad grown from 1 to about 15! All of them dragging me and since most of you know that I don't really dance unless and until I am absolutly blind which I wasn't, but I still had to dance. So anyway I danced for about 30 minutes and that was about all I could do for that day. I could barely stand after all that dancing and I was also getting hungry but I couldn't get anything to eat as well because they had finished the dinner and were cleaning the place. Damn people trying to get me to dance! I did have dessert though. That was pretty good!
Around 0030 or 0100 we finally get back to the Hotel to call it a night. I finally try to sleep once again but once again there is a family conference and they try to explain all that I have to do the next day. But with me being very tired the last thing I wanted to know was what I had to do the next day! And that was it for day 4 of the wedding week.

Now that was a bt tough remembering all those things. Now I will be flying to the Gold Coast tomorrow to attend the U2 concert in Brisbane on Tuesday! WOOHOO FINALLY I GET TO SEE U2 LIVE! So have fun people!

Ok so I did promise that there was going to be another entry about my experience at my brothers wedding. Now I do have a genuine excuse for not updating. And that is I am still trying to remember what happened next. I know that I said I would make up anything that I couldn't remember but when my brother and his wife are going to be reading it as well I might want to put in as much truth as possible to prevent myself from getting beaten up! And so I promise once again that I am definately going to have something by this weekend.

Hello loyal followers of my blog. How's it all hanging? Well anyway I popped in to wish everyone out there a Happy Belated Diwali. I know I was supposed to do it before but then I had a lot of things to do over the weekend! I was also going write another installment about the Wedding Experience of a lifetime. But again I got distracted by so many things happening around me! But I do promise that I will definately the next installment up by the end of this week!

Hello people!

So as I promised you all yesterday I am giving you all a detailed experience I just had at on my trip to India. Well as much as I can remember of it. Now this is going to be a long story so let's just get into it.

Day 1 - Friday the 18th of August.

This was the day when I was flying to India. The flight was fairly early in the morning and this meant that I had to wake up early as well. And this was me waking up at 0445. Now as most of you know me I have never seen that time in the morning unless I have been out the night before or haven't gone to bed at all! So this was a unique experience in itself. Luckily I had packed almost all of my stuff (I say almost because I had to just pack in my shoes), which meant that I only had to take a shower and get ready. So up and ready I was at 0515 and calling a cab to take me to the Southern Cross bus station. I could have taken a train but I was still too sleepy to keep on changing trains with a suitcase and a hand bag.

Then I get to the bus station around 0545 and then head up to take the bus to the airport. "That wasn't too bad" I said to myself. And then I thought "man I am way ahead of schedule here. My plane doesn't leave till 1010 and I am already on the bus heading for the airport at 0600 in the morning. I just hope the counters are open so I can check in and head on to check some duty free stuff". What I didn't also realise was that I hadn't taken into consideration that no one is stupid enough to wake up at 0500 and drive around town. This meant that I was in the airport by 0630 when it normally takes a bit longer than that if you find some traffic. I get to the airport and what do I find. The counters don't open till 0800. So now I have to spend and hour and a half sitting around and just waiting for the checkout counters to open up. Some of you might say that I could still gone into the Duty free shops in the airport but I hate walking into shops with a huge suitcase following you! Luckily I rememberred to take my mp3 player with me and I could listen to music I like instead of listening to noises from people talking to dragging their luggage! There were also some good looking women in the crowd, so the wait wasn't too bad.

Moving on, 0800 comes and I check my huge suitcase in and I am off to check out the Duty Free shopping. Woohoo I survived! Checking in that early in the morning meant that I still had another 2 hours before I boarded the plane and it took off. Unfortunately the plane was running a bit late so I had to wait a bit more than 2 hours to just board the plane. Again the good looking women showed up again to keep me company in waiting for the plane. I even had a decent breakfast and a coffee while I was waiting.

Finally the plane is here and we can now get on the plane. I knew my seat was at the back of the plane so I started walking towards the back of the plane listening to my music. In my half asleep state, listening to music and walking without looking I almost bumped into 4 people. Luckily I found my seat before and sat down before I fell asleep in the aisle. "Yes I am here and now I can sleep" I cheer myself. But once I sat down all the drowsiness had disappeared and I couldn't sleep anymore. Right time to watch some TV then hoping nothing will be on and I will be able to sleep. But that didn't happen as well. Sitting at the back of the plane really makes you feel all the bumps from the runway and the swaying because of the wind. I would not recommend these seats for the faint hearted, but otherwise there are really good seats with very good leg room and only one other person sitting next to you instead of two people.

The plane then takes off from Melbourne at around 1045 or sometime like that and I am sitting there watching TV. I do have recommend people to watch the movie Lucky Number Slevin. It is quite entertaining the whole time. You understand the plot soon enough but still the movie seems to keep people entertained. 16 blocks on the other hand is pretty boring. I watched 16 blocks hoping that it would put me to sleep but I still couldn't sleep because I they were serving lunch around that time. Nos I said that sitting in the back isn't too bad and it really isn't, but turbulence can really be a b#$%^ sitting there. This happened as soon as I grabbed my coffee to drink and half of it landed on my hand and my jeans. So there go my jeans and I can't wear them anymore. Luckily I had enough time to buy a new pair in Singapore. Finally I get to Singapore on time and landing is a bit scary but only because I am sitting right at the back of the plane.

Singapore Airport at 1610. My connecting flight to New Delhi is at 1855. Plenty of time to do my shopping, buy a new pair of jeans and be ready for boarding the plane. I buy my jeans from the Levi's shop at the airport, buy the 2 litres of alcohol that I am allowed to take into India and I still have more than an hour and a half before the departure. So I do what any man does and heads up for the pub! There had a few drinks and I met with some nice Aussie blokes, had a chat with the bar tender and watched some tricks that he showed us. Ok 1800 time to head back to the lounge to get in the plane again. And once again the counter isn't open yet. I wait for it to open listening to my music once again and talking to some good looking Australian girl who was flying to India as well. It wasn't too bad except for the fact that I forgot to ask her name. "Damn Aashish what are you doing?" I tell myself. But it was too late to ask her name as we were already on the plane and I wasn't sitting next to her nor could I find her.

So off to India we go once, again a bit late but only by 5 minutes or so. The flight to India wasn't too interesting besides that there was an Indian stewardess who wasn't too bad on the eye. So we get to India and are hovering over the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi and I can't understand why, when the pilot announces that the runways are not clear they have to hover over Delhi till we can land! "WTF are you serious? We are on time and the runways are not clear for us to land?" Anyway we finally land after circling around Delhi for 30 minutes. I go through the whole immigration check and wala I am waiting for my baggage to arrive. My only suitcase that was checked in took 45 minutes to come out. Damn you Indian Baggage handlers. They have to be one of the slowest baggage handlers in the world. Every 2 minutes you see one bag coming out. C'mon even I work faster than that. And that is saying something about them since I would have to be one of the laziest person on this planet. I finally get out of the airport without any problems and meet my uncle who was at the airport to pick me up. He asks me about the flight and I tell him about us hovering over Delhi, when he tells me that the New Delhi International airport only has 2 runways thereby making planes circle around the city before they can land. How can you have an International airport with just 2 runways is beyond my understanding. Since I was short on time I had to get home, which is 5 hours north of Delhi, as soon as possible and there was some discussion happening between me uncle, parents, cousin and me as to how and when to get home. Luckily they all decided in time and I was sitting in a bus around 2355 heading home.

Ok I think this much is enough for day one. Day two will come in tomorrow or when I get the time to type this much again. So till then take care and have fun people!

Hola Senora's and Senorita's of the world. After a much wanted and long break I am back into the world of blogging. And plus I have also almost finished my website! WOOHOO isn't that fantastic news now for everyone! Yes I know that it might be a bit slow but its not that I haven't tried! Its just that I couldn't be bothered fixing it up!

Anyhow getting back to what I have been upto these past days! Well for a start I got a job in Melbourne! So I have been living and working in the absolute cold. And the only days when the sun does make an appearance I end up having to work indoors meaning I get no sun and just feel cold all the time!;-) Anyway so I had been looking for a place to stay for about 2 weeks and I finally found one. Its a nice little one bedroom appartment with everything including a backyard! Yeah I thought what's the big deal its only a backyard but then my friends explained it to me that not a lot of people have backyards and having one when you are renting is really cool! And all this means I can get free Chillies because there are about 3 little chilli trees there. I actually have a very interesting story to tell you all about my first few hours in the new house. But I won't speak of them now and will tell all of you at a later date!

So yeah Melbourne is really very cold and living on the Gold Coast for the last 6 years has changed me completely. I never had to wake up early in the morning to find the temperature outside around 4 degrees! I got used to the nice sun and everything up there! I was on the Gold Coast over the weekend and being in the nice sun didn't really feel like coming back to Melbourne. But then I had to because the money and the job was calling me!
